Born on December 21, 1978 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Dicky Gonzalez (Dicky Angel Gonzalez) played for the New York Mets and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 2 year career. Gonzalez broke into the bigs on May 1, 2001 with the New York Mets, and put up a 4.88 ERA in 59 innings pitched in 2001, his rookie year.
