Born on July 3, 1893 in St. Louis, Missouri, Dickie Kerr (Richard Henry Kerr) played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 4 year career. Kerr broke into the bigs on April 25, 1919 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 2.88 ERA in 212.1 innings pitched in 1919, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dickie Kerr's best season was 1920, when he posted a 3.37 ERA, won 21 games and struck out 72 batters.
