Dick Wood

Dick Wood (Malcolm Richard Wood) was born on February 29, 1936 in Lanett, Alabama. After going to high school at Lanett (AL), Wood attended Auburn University. Wood made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1963 was Dick Wood's best year, as he threw for 2202 yards and tossed 18 TDs.
