Dick Weik

Born on November 17, 1927 in Waterloo, Iowa, Dick Weik (Richard Henry Weik) played for the Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 5 year career. Weik broke into the bigs on September 8, 1948 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 5.38 ERA in 95.1 innings pitched in 1949, his rookie year.
