Dick Van Raaphorst (Richard William Van Raaphorst) was born on December 10, 1942 in Port Huron, Michigan. After going to high school at Charlevoix (MI), Van Raaphorst attended Ohio State University. Van Raaphorst made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Dallas Cowboys the entire time. Van Raaphorst also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the San Diego Chargers the entire time.
Most people believe that 1967 was Dick Van Raaphorst's best year.
