Dick Tomlinson (Richard Kent Tomlinson) was born on August 5, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Dodge City (KS), Tomlinson attended the University of Kansas. Tomlinson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
