Dick Stafford (Richard Wade Stafford) was born on August 21, 1940 in Matador, Texas. After going to high school at Matador (TX), Stafford attended Texas Technical University. Stafford made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 2 year career.
