Dick Simpson (Richard Charles Simpson) was born on July 28, 1943 in Washington, D.C.. He made his Major League debut on September 21, 1962 for the Los Angeles Angels. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .197 with 6 home runs and 19 RBI. Simpson played for the Los Angeles Angels, California Angels, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, Seattle Pilots and New York Yankees over the course of his 7 year career.
