Dick Siebert (Richard Walther Siebert) was born on February 19, 1912 in Fall River, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1932 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In 1938, his rookie year, he hit .287 with 0 home runs and 28 RBI. Siebert played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Dick Siebert's best season was 1940, when he hit for a .286 average and knocked in 77 runs.
