Born on September 16, 1891 in Rockville, Maryland, Dick Robertson (Preston James Robertson) played for the Cincinnati Reds, Brooklyn Robins and Washington Senators over the course of his 3 year career. Robertson broke into the bigs on September 16, 1913 with the Cincinnati Reds, and put up a 2.59 ERA in 87 innings pitched in 1918, his rookie year.
