Born on December 4, 1933 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Dick Ricketts (Richard James Ricketts) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career. Ricketts broke into the bigs on June 14, 1959 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 5.82 ERA in 55.2 innings pitched in 1959, his rookie year.
