Dick Rauch (Richard Harvie Rauch) was born on July 15, 1893 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Bethlehem Prep (Bethlehem, PA) and Tech (Harrisburg, PA), Rauch attended Pennsylvania State University. Rauch made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Pottsville Maroons. He played for the Boston Bulldogs, New York Yankees and Pottsville Maroons over the course of his 3 year career.
