Dick Rand (Richard Hilton Rand) was born on March 7, 1931 in South Gate, California. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1953 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Rand played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 3 year career.
