Dick Poillon (Richard Charles Poillon) was born on August 13, 1920 in Astoria, New York. After going to high school at Valley Stream (NY), Poillon attended Canisius College. Poillon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1947 was Dick Poillon's best year, as he caught 4 TD passes.
