Dick Palmer (Richard Harry Palmer) was born on April 9, 1947 in Lexington, Kentucky. After going to high school at Kubasaki (Okinawa, Japan), Palmer attended the University of Kentucky. Palmer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Dick Palmer's best year.
