Dick Nen (Richard Leroy Nen) was born on September 24, 1939 in South Gate, California. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1963 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1965, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 6 home runs and 31 RBI. Nen played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Washington Senators and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 6 year career.
