Dick Mckissack (James Richard McKissack) was born on February 10, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (San Antonio, TX), Mckissack attended Southern Methodist University. Mckissack made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 1 year career.
