Dick Loftus (Richard Joseph Loftus) was born on March 7, 1901 in Concord, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1924 for the Brooklyn Robins. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .237 with 0 home runs and 13 RBI. Loftus played for the Brooklyn Robins for his entire 2 year career.
