Born on September 1, 1948 in Harbor Beach, Michigan, Dick Lange (Richard Otto Lange) played for the California Angels for his entire 4 year career. Lange broke into the bigs on September 9, 1972 with the California Angels, and put up a 4.44 ERA in 52.2 innings pitched in 1973, his rookie year.
