Dick Kryhoski

Dick Kryhoski (Richard David Kryhoski) was born on March 24, 1925 in Leonia, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1949 for the New York Yankees. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .294 with 1 home run and 27 RBI. Kryhoski played for the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Browns, Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Athletics over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Dick Kryhoski's best season was 1951, when he hit for a .287 average and knocked in 57 runs.
