Dick Kokos

Dick Kokos (Richard Jerome Kokos) was born on February 28, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on July 8, 1948 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1948, his rookie year, he hit .298 with 4 home runs and 40 RBI. Kokos played for the St. Louis Browns and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 5 year career.
There is some disagreement on what was Dick Kokos's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1949, when he slugged 23 home runs and knocked in 77 runs. However, others believe that it was 1950, when he slugged 18 home runs and knocked in 67 runs.
