Born on March 30, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dick Koecher (Richard Finlay Koecher) played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 3 year career. Koecher broke into the bigs on September 29, 1946 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
