Dick Kelley
[edit] Biography
Born on January 8, 1940 in Brighton, Massachusetts, Dick Kelley (Richard Anthony Kelley) played for the Milwaukee Braves, Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres over the course of his 7 year career. Kelley broke into the bigs on April 15, 1964 with the Milwaukee Braves, and put up a 3.22 ERA in 81 innings pitched in 1966, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Dick Kelley's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1966, when he posted a 3.22 ERA and struck out 50 batters. However, others believe that it was 1968, when he posted a 2.76 ERA and struck out 73 batters.
