Dick Hyde

Born on August 3, 1928 in Hindsboro, Illinois, Dick Hyde (Richard Elde Hyde) played for the Washington Senators and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 6 year career. Hyde broke into the bigs on April 23, 1955 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 4.12 ERA in 109.1 innings pitched in 1957, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Dick Hyde's best season was 1958, when he posted a 1.75 ERA, won 10 games and notched 18 saves.
