Dick Horne

Dick Horne (Richard Courtland Horne) was born on September 4, 1918 in Denver, Colorado. After going to high school at Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA), Horne attended Compton JC and the University of Oregon. Horne made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Giants the entire time. Horne also played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the San Francisco 49ers and Miami Seahawks over the course of his 2 year AAFC career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Dick Horne's best year.
