Dick Hendley (Dickson Lafayette Hendley) was born on August 6, 1926. After going to high school at Greenville (SC), Hendley attended Clemson University. Hendley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
