Dick Hanson (Richard Alan Hanson) was born on December 25, 1949 in Hillsboro, North Dakota. After going to high school at Central (Fargo, ND), Hanson attended North Dakota State University. Hanson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
