Dick Gibson (Richard M. Gibson) was born on December 5, 1900. After going to high school at Male (Louisville, KY), Gibson attended Centre College. Gibson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Louisville Brecks. He played for the Louisville Brecks for his entire 2 year career.
