Dick Flowers (Richard R. Flowers) was born on August 13, 1927 in South Bend, Indiana. After going to high school at Central (South Bend, IN), Flowers attended Northwestern University. Flowers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
