Dick Farley (Richard Joseph Farley) was born on May 30, 1946 in Danvers, Massachusetts. After going to high school at St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA), Farley attended Boston University. Farley made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 2 year career.
