Dick Cunningham (Richard Karekin Cunningham) was born on October 12, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (San Antonio, TX), Cunningham attended the University of Arkansas. Cunningham made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time. Cunningham also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 4 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1970 was Dick Cunningham's best year.
