Dick Culler (Richard Broadus Culler) was born on January 15, 1915 in High Point, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1936 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1943, his rookie year, he hit .216 with 0 home runs and 11 RBI. Culler played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Chicago White Sox, Boston Braves, Chicago Cubs and New York Giants over the course of his 8 year career.
