Dick Crowl (Richard Bernard Crowl) was born on March 25, 1908 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at Ridgefield Park (NJ), Crowl attended Rutgers State University of New Jersey. Crowl made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
