Dick Brown (Richard Ernest Brown) was born on January 17, 1935 in Shinnston, West Virginia. He made his Major League debut on June 20, 1957 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1958, his rookie year, he hit .237 with 7 home runs and 20 RBI. Brown played for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 9 year career.
