Born on July 26, 1932 in Bayonne, New Jersey, Dick Brodowski (Richard Stanley Brodowski) played for the Boston Red Sox, Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 6 year career. Brodowski broke into the bigs on June 15, 1952 with the Boston Red Sox, and put up a 4.40 ERA in 114.2 innings pitched in 1952, his rookie year.
