Dick Barwegen

Dick Barwegen (Richard J. Barwegen) was born on December 25, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Fenger (Chicago, IL), Barwegen attended Purdue University. Barwegen made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the New York Yankees. He played in the AAFC for 3 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts and New York Yankees over the course of his 3 year AAFC career.Barwegen also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 5 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Dick Barwegen's best year.
