Dick Ambrose (Richard John Ambrose) was born on January 17, 1953 in New Rochelle, New York. After going to high school at Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY), Ambrose attended the University of Virginia. Ambrose made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1978 was Dick Ambrose's best year.
