Dick Alban (Richard Herbert Alban) was born on January 17, 1929 in Hanover, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at LaPorte (IN), Alban attended Northwestern University. Alban made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1954 was Dick Alban's best year, as he picked off 9 passes.
