Born on June 16, 1980 in Tullahoma, Tennessee, Dewon Brazelton (Dewon Cortez Brazelton) played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and San Diego Padres over the course of his 5 year career. Brazelton broke into the bigs on September 13, 2002 with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and put up a 4.77 ERA in 120.2 innings pitched in 2004, his rookie year.
