Dewey Metivier

Born on May 6, 1898 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Dewey Metivier (George Dewey Metivier) played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 3 year career. Metivier broke into the bigs on September 15, 1922 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 6.50 ERA in 73.1 innings pitched in 1923, his rookie year.
