Born on September 19, 1871 in Aledo, Illinois, Dewey McDougal (James H. McDougal) played for the St. Louis Perfectos for his entire 2 year career. McDougal broke into the bigs on April 24, 1895 with the St. Louis Perfectos, and put up a 8.32 ERA in 114.2 innings pitched in 1895, his rookie year.
