Detron Smith (Detron Negil Smith) was born on February 25, 1974 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX), Smith attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Smith made his professional debut in the NFL in 1996 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1997 was Detron Smith's best year.
