Desi Relaford (Desmond Lamont Relaford) was born on September 16, 1973 in Valdosta, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on August 1, 1996 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1998, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 5 home runs and 41 RBI. Relaford played for the Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals and Colorado Rockies over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Desi Relaford's best season was 2003, when he knocked in 59 runs.
