Derrick Alexander (Derrick Scott Alexander) was born on November 6, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Benedictine (Detroit, MI), Alexander attended the University of Michigan. Alexander made his professional debut in the NFL in 1994 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 2000 was Derrick Alexander's best year, as he hauled in 78 receptions, had 1391 receiving yards and caught 10 TD passes.
