Derrick Gainer (Derrick Luther Gainer) was born on August 15, 1966 in Plant City, Florida. After going to high school at Plant City (FL), Gainer attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Gainer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1990 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Raiders and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1990 was Derrick Gainer's best year.
