Derrick Burgess

Derrick Burgess (Derrick Lee Burgess) was born on August 12, 1978 in Lake City, South Carolina. After going to high school at Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD), Burgess attended the University of Mississippi. Burgess made his professional debut in the NFL in 2001 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He has played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 2005 was Derrick Burgess's best year, as he recorded 16 sacks.
