Derrel Gofourth (Derrel Glen Gofourth) was born on March 20, 1955 in Little Parsons, Kansas. After going to high school at Parsons (KS), Gofourth attended Oklahoma State University. Gofourth made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was Derrel Gofourth's best year.
