Derek Hill (Derek Keith Hill) was born on November 4, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Carson (Los Angeles, CA), Hill attended the University of Arizona. Hill made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1989 was Derek Hill's best year.
