Denver Grigsby (Denver Clarence Grigsby) was born on March 25, 1901 in Jackson, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on August 29, 1923 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1924, his rookie year, he hit .299 with 3 home runs and 48 RBI. Grigsby played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 3 year career.
