Denny Gildea (Dennis Anthony Gildea) was born on October 9, 1898 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Gildea attended Holy Cross College. Gildea made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Hartford Blues. He played for the Hartford Blues for his entire 1 year career.
